About HSP ADU Builders
An ADU contractor built around how the process should feel.
Free consultation. Written proposal. Permits handled in-house. Direct owner involvement. One team — start to finish.
The short version.
HSP ADU Builders is a locally owned ADU contractor serving San Diego (CA) and Pierce County (WA). We handle design direction, permitting, and construction for ADU projects — detached ADUs, attached ADUs, garage conversions, and junior ADUs, end to end by one team.
What makes us different is the structure: one written proposal that covers the whole scope, in-house permitting so there’s no expediter handoff, and a dedicated project manager on every job with direct involvement from the owner.
Bonded and fully insured. Licensed in California and Washington. We pull permits when required and provide license verification and a certificate of insurance on request.
The whole pitch in one sentence: one contractor for design, permits, and build — with the communication discipline of a much larger firm.
Meet Modi.
What we believe.
One contractor, every step.
Design, permits, construction, finish — under one roof, with one point of contact. You don’t coordinate a designer, a permit expediter, and three subs. We are all of those.
Permits are part of the job.
We handle ADU permitting in-house in California and Washington. It’s faster and more predictable than routing through outside expediters, and it’s built into your written proposal from day one.
Written proposals only.
No napkin math, no surprise charges. Scope, materials direction, timeline, and payment schedule — in writing, before we start. Change orders are written and approved before the work happens.
Updates from a real person.
Your dedicated PM gives you on-site updates throughout the build. No call-center triage between you and the work.
